Who is this for? Children ages 6-16. All are welcome!
Cost to participate is $75. If additional children will be participating in your family, each additional participant will cost $50/per child. This is a fantastic value thanks to a generous grant provided by the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund. Tickets for the performances will cost $8 per person.
Auditions
Auditions will be held Wednesday, June 5th at the Ford Theatre in Afton from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Come any time during that window. There will be a signup sheet and we will observe children in the order of the sign-ups.
Children should come prepared with a 1-minute song and a short, memorized nursery rhyme. There will be a piano available, but no pianist. The cast list will be available on the Star Valley Arts Council website, and we will email it out to parents on Thursday evening. Please contact us immediately if your child will not be accepting their position.
Costumes
Costumes will be provided for the main characters. Children and families are asked to provide a bright-colored t-shirt, and black leggings, shorts, or pants. We will work together with families for costumes. Please contact us if you are interested in helping with costumes, props, or set design.
